Collapsed week and Easter - Dummy and Typography
Graphics lessons are collapsed during the week prior to the Easter hols due to Yr13 exams.
Following are instructions for 15 hours of study. 10 hours of work for the collapsed week and 5 hours for the Easter holiday.
Task 1
Produce a physical dummy of a potential product or artefact that you could make. This can be a rough, and it can could different mediums, but must be inventive and show your working out.
E.G. Joe B is working towards making a zine. He has already completed some artwork in an attempt to find a suitable media (acrylic, print) with which to communicate. Next, he needs to consider potential ideas for the content of the zine and try a few dummy trials.
Task 2
Typography will be an important aspect of your designs. Research typography from similar artefacts (see above) together with others that could be suitable. From this research, design a suitable typeface of your own. Explain all your reasons.
